There is no way there are 400 million + people playing western RPGs on PCs, even if you include MMORPGs. I don't know where you're getting that number, but all of those people are definitely not playing western RPGs, and there certainly won't be a mass migration of 400 million people to the 360. Besides, now that EA has aquired Bioware, the Mass Effects will almost certainly be coming to the PS3.
I'm glad this sold well, its an awesome game. Can't wait for Bioshock 2, although it sucks that Levine won't be working on it.

PS3 owners aren't missing anything if they don't get Mass Effect. That is one of the most frustrating, akward, boring games I have ever played. I never quit a game half way through, but I had to quit mass effect, I couldn't take it anymore. If this never comes to the PS3 then Sony fans should consider themselves lucky.
Uhh....you're going a little over my head there. I don't know much about tech stuff. My TV is only a 32 inch sony bravia, and it only goes to 720p. Also, I have component cables and not HDMI. But if you only own a PS3 then by all means get COD4, it still looks good on the PS3, just not as good, and its still a great game. But if you own both a 360 and a PS3 then for the love of Buddha, get the 360 version.

I've seen that comparison video before and it proves nothing. I've also heard the talking points from infinity ward and they are liers. You have to see them on the same TV with the same settings. They are definitely not identical. Of course it isn't that big of a deal, but the textures really suffer on the PS3. Also the aliasing. Believe in me, for I speak not but the truth in all things.
I'm a sony fan, but being "washed out" isn't the only problem with PS3 multi-platform games. PS3 versions also usually have worse textures and aliasing. A good example of this is COD4. COD4 was supposed to look identical on both systems according to infinity ward, but after seeing both on the same TV, it is obvious that the PS3 version's textures are much, much worse. The aliasing is also much worse. I hope developers eventually get used to the PS3, because this is not good.
A mature FF would be awesome, I admit. But it wouldn't sell as well. There are a lot of kids who would want to buy FFXIII but whose parents wouldn't let them because its mature. The PS3 needs all the system selling games it can get. So no way is Sony gonna let this be rated mature. They desperately need this game to sell as much as possible. If this game comes out with a mature rating I'll eat my hat.

I can't believe that the worst video game I have ever played, Mass Effect, is outselling Uncharted. Granted, Uncharted is a better rental than a purchase because it has no replay value at all, but it is still infinitely better than that abomination Mass Effect. What has the world come to? Every copy of Mass Effect should be melted down and recycled.

I hate freakishly huge, ridiculously over-sized boobs. They have completely ruined this game with those hormonal imbalance indicating, vomit-inducing juggs. Damn the people who designed those characters.

Just because Gaylo 3 sold a lot of copies doesn't mean that it was good. Millions of people bought Backstreet Boys cds, so does that mean the Backstreet Boys are good? Of course not. You know that.
You've obviously never played BulletWitch, Vampire Rain, Rumble Roses XX or Two Worlds. The 360 has far more than it's share of garbage games. A lot more than the PS3. Oh, Halo 3 also sucked.
Thats all well and good that the PS3 is selling well in France, but how many people are there in France? I really have no idea, but I'm guessing something like 40 million? Maybe it more, but its still a tiny fraction of the number of people in a big, important market like America. America has, what, 350 million people? France is too small a market to even care about.
What are you basing that on Killjoy? Have you seen both versions on the same TV, on the same settings? The 360 version looks much, MUCH better than the PS3 version. Its not even funny that EA claims that the two versions look identical. The PS3 version can not compete.
That Shawnp guy is right. I RENTED both console versions of COD4, played them on the same TV, obviously, and the 360 looks MUCH better. Textures, anti-aliasing, lighting, they are all DRASTICALLY better on the 360. Sorry, but EA is full of crap.
I'm sorry to say that you can't believe infinity ward when they tell you that COD4 looks identical on the 360 and the PS3, because it looks a lot worse on the PS3. The textures and aliasing are much worse on the PS3.
